Last updated: 19 September 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:

Crossware I/O GmbH
Rothstr. 27/1
89073 Ulm
Germany

Phone: +49 151 612 575 36

2. Accessing this website

When you access this website, the hosting infrastructure may automatically process technical information required to deliver the website securely. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referrer URL, browser, operating system and response status.

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, reliable and technically efficient operation of the website, including the prevention and investigation of misuse.

3. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, telephone or through the contact form, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number and message, in order to respond to your enquiry.

Where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where you have given consent for a particular purpose, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies; consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

4. External services and content

Locally hosted fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored on our own website infrastructure. No connection to Google or another font provider is established when they are loaded.

YouTube

Individual pages offer videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google. YouTube content is not loaded automatically. A connection to YouTube is established only after you activate the clearly labelled video preview. YouTube may then receive technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies. If you are signed in to a Google account, Google may associate the video access with that account.

External links and social networks

Our website links to external services such as LinkedIn and YouTube. Data is normally transmitted to those providers only when you follow an external link. Their respective privacy policies apply after you leave our website.

Analytics and advertising

The current version of this website does not use Google Analytics, Google Ads remarketing or comparable advertising-tracking tools. If such services are introduced in the future, this policy and, where required, the consent mechanism will be updated before they are used.

5. How long we retain data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Enquiries that do not result in a business relationship are generally deleted no later than three years after the end of the calendar year in which the matter was concluded, unless continued retention is required or justified. Business and accounting records may be retained for the periods required by law.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data may be processed by service providers that support the hosting, operation and communication functions of this website. They process data only where there is a legal basis and, where they act as processors, under appropriate contractual arrangements.

When services from providers outside the European Economic Area are used, data may be transferred to countries whose level of data protection differs from that of the EU. Where required, such transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, or another legally permitted mechanism.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure or restriction of processing;
  • receive data you provided in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future; and
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons arising from your particular situation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact info@crossware.io.

8. Security and changes to this policy

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, disclosure or access. No internet transmission can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this privacy policy when the website, the services used or legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the current version.
